SophiA Publishing announces upcoming release of latest book: Life in the Sticks

DULUTH, MINN. 11 APRIL 2012- From SophiA Publishing comes a new book: Life in the Sticks, by author Sophia Anderson. Life in the Sticks is a collection of fond and funny memories of a girl growing up in the “middle of nowhere”, the “boonies”, or the “sticks.” The book covers different events in the girl’s life, such as entertaining misadventures with her family and friends, and interesting ways of keeping boredom at bay when the nearest town is a half-an-hour away. It is an entertaining look into life in rural areas. Though most of the stories are humorous, they also depict the bonds of love between family, and just how strong those bonds can be.

This book is set to be released in early May. The prospective date of release at this time is May 1, 2012, but is subject to change. Sophia Anderson is a journalism major at the College of St. Scholastica, in Duluth, Minnesota. Life in the Sticks will be her first published book, but she has had other published works featured in newspapers, such as the Cable and Generation W.  In her book, Anderson provides a comical look into her life as she grew up outside a small town in northern Minnesota.
